Day 2: Good News!

"Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed,
Because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning.
Great is Your Faithfulness."
"The Lord is my portion," says my soul,
"Therefore, I hope in Him!"

God is so Faithful! First thing Friday morning, there was a knock on the door from the ultrasound technician ready for my ultrasound. We initially thought we were having an ultrasound on Thursday but found out it was Friday morning instead.

The ultrasound was to check Little Buddy's weight, position and the fluid levels. We got such good news! We were hoping for 3 pounds. They estimate he weighs 3.5 pounds already!! So we were thrilled and every day he stays in my tummy he can put on even more weight. He also had turned from breech to head down. Now it is still early enough that he could move again, but if he does stay where he is now, we might be able to avoid a c section!  So that was more good news. It was so good to have some good news after the roller coaster ride that was Thursday!
I am also able to be sitting up and walking around right near my room area for now so that is a blessing too! I can wear my clothes instead of a hospital gown and Brent can take me outside on the hospital grounds in a wheelchair for short trips!

We are so thankful for all of the good news that today brought and for God's continued Faithfulness and protection!
